Mary & Joseph Meek > Tripp enjoys his first meal at Panera! (Don't be too jealous Joe).
Mary & Joseph Meek > At approximately 5 p.m. on the day he turned 6 weeks, Tripp stopped breathing, apparently having aspirated breastmilk as a by-product of reflux. Thank God, his grandpa was on hand and performed CPR, saving Tripp's life after about 3-4 terrifying minutes.

Mary & Joseph Meek > Grandpa comforts Tripp while mom holds an oxygen "cup" (he hated the mask!) over Tripp's nose and mouth
Mary & Joseph Meek > Competent providers from Children's Memorial Hospital prepare Tripp for transport from Kankakee to Chicago
Mary & Joseph Meek > Not knowing the reason for his respiratory arrest, Tripp was not permitted to have food the first night. It was hard for both of us!
Mary & Joseph Meek > Tripp rests soundly after his traumatic night with food in his belly after he passes his "swallow test" :)
