27 October: Braeden's umbilical cord finally fell off yesterday, so he had his first real bath today. Like his siblings before him, he was not a big fan of being unbundled for it but rebounded quickly afterwards with a bottle and a cuddle.

14 October 2009: We welcomed Braeden Paul Meek into the world on 11 October 2009. He was 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and 20 inches long. He was admitted to the NICU briefly due to difficulty breathing, but we are happy to have him home now. Share in our joy by getting to know our newest wonder.

4 Sep 2009: We just returned from a wonderful family vacation at Walt Disney World, where we "banked" lots of memories! We were often asked what we were celebrating, and chose to consider this our surrogate birthdays and anniversary that we will soon be spending apart.
